He is the Founder and Managing Director of Basu Aesthetics + Plastic Surgery, one of the most respected aesthetic plastic surgery practices in the U.S., and has been consistently ranked among Newsweek magazine America’s Best Plastic Surgeons (2020–2026).
Dr. Basu currently serves as President of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), the world’s largest organization of board-certified plastic surgeons with more than 12,000 members. In this role, he helps shape surgical standards, advance patient safety, and promote plastic surgery education both in the United States and internationally.
